The much awaited arrival of Toy Story 3 on Blu-ray/DVD did not disappoint! Children and adults will delight in the return of the Toy Story characters and the arrival of new characters in this story that puts a "book-end" to the Toy Story and does so with excitement, emotion and excellence! Families will find this movie gives them an excellent opportunity to talk about important lessons such as how to treat new kids at school and how we can show love and loyalty to those we already know. Excellent animation and story-telling - Toy Story 3 would make a great family gift! Tremendously well done!

A Christmas Carol

This Disney Christmas Carol brought a new look and feel to the classic Dickens' story! The motion-capture animation is amazing! I would not recommend this for young children or for children who are frightened easily as the ghost of Jacob Marley and the scenes with the ghost of Christmas future are quite intense and frightening. However; for older children and adults this version of A Christmas Carol is sure to delight! Extremely well done!

Stunning! I thrilled to see the whales and dolphins and was absolutely delighted to see creatures I never knew existed - such as the blanket octopus! While I absolutely could have done without the evolution narration being presented as "fact" when it is an unproven theory, I completely enjoyed this DVD. When I see these amazing creatures it causes me to praise God for creating them! Be aware, young children - or sensitive children and even adults, will find the scenes where the orcas and sharks are eating sea lions very sad and disturbing, but everything else in this DVD is absolutely amazing and completely stunning! Tremendously well done!

Educational and entertaining - this is an incredible film! I personally believe it shouts the wonder of creation - clearly these birds are designed to need the algae and programmed where to find it. Incredible filming in difficult surroundings - and while I could have absolutely done without the spiders - I highly recommend this story! Extremely well done!

What's not to love about Beauty and the Beast? This incredible story absolutely needed to be available on blu-ray! The music on Beauty and the Beast is some of the best music ever written for any movie - animated or live action - and adds to the charm and power of this timeless story! I'm thrilled a new generation will grow up loving this story and the songs - makes a great family gift! Tremendously well done!

An excellent movie for families to watch together and then talk about the messages they saw. Families with middle to upper elementary children and older are sure to enjoy the fast pace and action as well as the unexpected twists and turns and how the special effects add excitement to the overall story line. Interesting characters throughout carry the theme of doing what is right no matter what and add depth to this action-adventure movie! I really appreciate the emphasis on family and doing the right thing - even if you stand alone to do so - it is the message in this movie that gets it my Top Pick Ribbon. Excellent family gift! Tremendously well done!
