Once again we have had the opportunity to review a number of gift ideas for everyone on your gift list! As expenses have continued to rise for all of us and many of us have experienced job loss or reduction in hours, we looked for gift items you might give an entire family and for gift items running $100.00 or less - in most situations.

I particularly love giving and receiving books as gifts - I always received books as gifts growing up and believe it is one reason I value books! This year we reviewed a number of beautiful pop-up books! Consider giving people on your list a book, popcorn and a batch of homemade cookies or cookies from one of the companies in our food review - what sounds better than popcorn or a cookie and a quiet evening to get "lost" in a book?! I also love books with information in them on how to do something; for example books on crocheting, knitting, or some other craft. Books with info to help you learn a new skill or hobby are valuable in more than one way! A book, yarn and crochet hook makes a great gift as does a completed item you made!

Games are great items for specific people on your list as well as for families - combine with some quality popcorn and great times will follow! I do have reviews of toys as most kids do hope to find a toy under their tree on Christmas morning . . . take a look at the new section on electronic toys! The robots are really cool and come in a wide variety of price ranges - I especially liked the robots from HexBug as they come in at $20 and less and at a bit more pricey the Tribot and Wrex the Dawg from WowWee are robots any child, teen or even adult would be delighted to receive!

Gift items for grown ups made their way on my list this year with special focus on items that are enjoyable and useful!

As always, I've noted if an item is particularly easy to use - always a concern for me since I have MS and Lupus.

I hope as you look through this year's gift review, you will find ideas to help you with your gift giving needs! As always, we are not paid to review any of the items we review. All items we review are sent to us by their manufacturer/publisher.
