I enjoy a cup or two of coffee in the morning, as does my husband. I used to make coffee each morning and it is something I'd still like to do, but with my MS and Lupus I am concerned about the very real possibility of dropping a coffee pot and a dropped, glass coffee pot is not something I'd like to deal with first thing in the morning. Instead, add dried cherries, cranberries and blueberries to the filter for a naturally sweet flavor full of health benefits! I really like this tea maker - I appreciate the glass pitcher as plastic pitchers crack and leak. I like the design - if this glass pitcher breaks, I should be able to easily replace it and continue to enjoy my cold tea! On days when the ms has me feeling particularly weak, I would likely need help pouring the cold tea into a plastic pitcher as the glass pitcher is too heavy for me, but I have help available and this is a great tea maker! Tremendously well done!
