I believe appliances make great gifts - especially if they can do something to make my life easier. I have MS and Lupus and often am weak. I drop things sometimes so appliances that are easy to use are sincerely appreciated by me. While I was impressed with all the appliances we reviewed, my personal favorites I think everyone with anything like MS or Lupus should have are, the Hamilton Beach BrewStation Deluxe, the Senseo single serve coffee maker, the Oster Blender with Food Processor Attachment and any of the Rival CrockPots! I will be noting items that receive our "Ease of Use Commendation" in the reviews.

Quality! If I had to use one word for this oven, "quality" would definitely be it! Dependability. This word also describes KitchenAid's Countertop Oven. You can depend on consistent results every time you use this oven. Versatile - you can use this oven for simply toasting bread or preparing a complete meal. Excellent alternative to using your regular oven and heating the home - especially in the summer. Tremendously well done, KitchenAid!

I love these crock pots! Just put your ingredients in the stoneware dish in the morning, set the dial and in the evening your dinner is ready. Often by the end of the day I'm really "beat" so being able to have my dinner ready, even though I'm tired, is something I sincerely appreciate! If you or someone you know, have "strength issues" as I do, absolutely get one of the crock pots. You may need help with lifting them, but they are so user friendly and worth it!
